out that i had been ripped off by the previous seller! he told me that this was in really good condition and very reliable.unfortunatly it wasnt. | i will start with the good bits; | this has mot until 20th october 2012. | i have fitted the following items to this vehicle. | 2 new rear springs with poly bushes, new timing belt kit, new water pump, new radiator and thermostat, new front brake disc`s. | it also has had 2 very good second hand rear bumper corners to which i have fitted 2 new fog lights and 2 new led rear lights. | it has also had 2 new federal 9.50x30x15 tyres,its got 235x75x15 tyres with 5mm of tread on the front.i also fitted 2 25mm wheel spacers on the front to stop the tryes rubbing when on full steering lock. | this also has a towbar with twin sockets(not tested),its got a bullbar,its got a k and n air filter,its also fitted with ford scorpio leather seats,rear windows are tinted but they have a few air bubbles in them. | its got power steering,electric windows,removable hard top.etc etc. | the bad bits; | there is a small dint in the n/s door and wing,plus a few small dints elsewhere on the car,these are not big ones! | there is no tax on this car. | no rear seats fitted. | this will require some welding to the o/s outer sill and under the o/s rear wheel arch. | there is an electrical problem on this car,dont thinks its anything major,it drains battery overnight. | the drivres side door trim is bent but again its nothing major. | as you can see from the above list i have spent a small fortune on this car,its been a good car but its now time to go as i have not got the time or money to finish this off properly.it wont take too much money to sort this out now as most of the work has been done. | i dont think ive missed anything off but if i have i will update this listing. | any questions please ask or phone or text (07921 904154) | this is not road legal at the monent due to no tax. | collection preffered but can deliver at a cost | thanks for looking. | please look at my other listings. | X

Additionally, with the lid up the Daihatsu`s boot has quite a bit of room, with space for two suitcases or a picnic basket. It`s a push to get a sports bag in the Smart`s hold. Although durable and well put together, the plastics feel low rent. A rattle developed in the roof lining, but this was fixed at the first service. Amazingly, this has been the only problem - apart from the prang. What`s more, none of the alloy wheels is scratched, which is incredible considering London`s unforgiving kerbs. All in all, life with the Copen hasn`t always been a picnic, but it`s just a shame that now that I`ve made up my mind I could happily live with it, the car is going back to Daihatsu. easily. it has a 5 speed box and the engine starts very well and pulls well. it is quite comfortable for this type of car and sits happily at 85mph. it has off road tyres and seems to be rust free underneath. the only things that i can find that are bad are as follows; one wheel arch is starting to bubble, the is a loose baffle in the front exhaust box, but there is a spare exhaust box with the car and the radio doesn`t work because the aerial is broken i presume. it has MOT until April 2012 and tax until the end of September witch can be included for at extra cost. the car is in Brightlingsea Essex.no scammers etc. this is advertised locally and may be removed.
