before bidding. | For sale is my Daihatsu Terios 4x4 . I have owned it for nearly two years , using it mainly in the winter.It still has Mot to 3rd July and tax to end of June. It has 89390 miles on the clock, I have covered approximately 3000 miles in two years. Everything works on it,it has four good matching Matador Izzard 205/70/15 m&s tyres and a good spare, two of the tyres have less than 1500 miles use. Interior is sound, no splits in seats. Body is reasonable, odd rust blemishes, scratches and small dints.The car is full time four wheel drive, with an electrically operated lockable centre differential that works. I live at top a steep hill, I have never failed to get up the hill in the snow. It had a new battery fitted in December along with an oil and fillter. New discs and pads fitted a year or so ago.I will list the faults as I know. A whine / squeal started recently from the front corner of the car, would suspect bearing. The engine is getting tired, it starts first time in any weathereven when freezing cold and idles sweetly. It will pull under light load but does not like more than half throttle. If driven hard it will use a bit of oil. If you wan`t to view no problem, I would sooner take you for a ride in it than someone bid expecting something it is not, please send me a message to arrange. I have used it mainly for local trips, it will get up to 55 mph eventually and just about keep up with lorries on the motorway but is not good enough now for long runs.Cash on collection from Norttingham within seven days of auction ending. have enjoyed driving and using the vehicle - its a great little workhorse. Some more details on the vehicle - Has a full years MOT - passed easily, the only advisory was slight play in the front passenger wheelbearing. Has had recent OIL / OIL FILTER / AIR FILTER changes Both 4 and 2 Wheel drive work well Has had 4 new tyres recently fitted All alloy wheels Has had hand fuel pump recently fitted Has spare wheel mounted on rear door Towbar mounted (I have not used the electrics) Inside of vehicle is clean and tidy but not immaculate Vehicle bodywork is clean and tidy - some beginnings of rust on rear door. Has had some welding carried out on both sills in the past - these are still solid Rear wheel arches could do with some welding - but this does not effect the MOT Engine starts well and runs really smoothly Vehicle is comfortable to drive with good acceleration and plenty of power Vehicle seems tight with no shakes, bangs and rattles. ultra-economical 3-cylinder engine, cheap insurance, cheap tax (£130 for the year), view in Sunny Leeds (West Yorkshire) Up for sale is my friend`s Daihatsu Cuore - I`m listing it on her behalf as she doesn`t have an eBay account. She`s owned it since March 2009, and it`s been reliable, cheap trouble-free motoring ever since. A change of job means she no longer needs a second car, so the little Cuore is up for reluctant sale. It drives superbly, with no nasty noises, leaks or horror stories. Driving it bears out all the owner reviews I`ve read, praising it for its responsiveness and engaging chassis, along with Japanese reliability and build quality as standard.Ludicrously economical to run, it regularly returns 55mpg, even around town, and even more on any kind of run. The bodywork is in excellent condition, especially considering the age of the car - I`ve taken photos of the couple of very small surface corrosion patches I found on the rear arches; the metal itself is very very solid, and the corrosion would be a quick and easy DIY fix. The bodywork shows a few tiny car park marks, like you`d expect, but you`d need to look close to spot them - it`s a very straight and nice-looking little thing. Cosmetically, the only thing to point out is that the little plastic foglight surround is missing. I`ve hosted a pile of photos for you to take a look at - even bigger than eBay`s supersize ones. Just click on the thumbnails below to see the big versions: There`s a decent stereo fitted, an aftermarket gearknob and seat covers protecting the fronts. The interior is in great nick, and the rear seats especially are incredibly clean. The tyres are all good - one of them was replaced at 96k, and another pair were new only last summer - less than 1,000 miles old! The odometer stopped working just after this year`s MOT, so it hasn`t been adding any miles for the last couple of months, but genuinely has covered less than a hundred miles since then, as it`s a second car. There`s a pile of old MOTs as well as the current one, all of which point to a car which has seen an easy life - mileage at each MOT in March reads 82250 (in 2006), 84259 (2007), 88417 (2008), 94744 (2009), 96011 (2010), 96776 miles (March 2011) and 97704 miles (6 March 2012). I have a bills for a tyre, full service and some brake parts at 96k miles in May 2010, a clutch kit a month later (so that`s a maximum of 2,000 miles old), and two new tyres in August 2011. There`s the full V5, a service history up to 52k in 2004, and a full owner`s manual. I`m happy to try and get answers to any questions you may have, but it may take a day or two to exchange emails. in 2010 (6000 miles ago), all wearing parts were replaced. The engine rebuild was carried out by myself, I am a 51 year old independant mechanic. The engine is very responsive and idles perfectly. Lubricants are serviced on a regular basis. Body and Interior The bodywork is in very good condition for its age, clean and straight. Interior is in good condition especially the seats, of which the rear seats arn`t in the vehicle at the moment due to me carrying my tools in the back, however they will be included in the sale. The daihatsu currently has 4x General Grabber AT2, The rears are brand new, the fronts have covered 3000 miles. fitted 12months ago No tax currently Sorn as am not using it at the moment Was used daily to and from beach with dog until tax ran out. Please note that it could be said that it is being sold as spares or repairs as it needs some work, i.e rear wiper blade, full valet, and will need a small amount of welding for next MOT. Only known fault on this vehicle is the rubber bushes/mount between the body and chassis has failed which causes a banging noise when going over bumps, as is the rear door is not closed properly. Please note that this does not affect the driving or handling of the vehicle and I have used it like this for a number of months as was not an MOT failure. Please note that this has been a working vehicle and is no showroom beauty, but certainly does the job!! Please note that the engine and gear box is 100% reliable and has never failed.
